THE 2009 NPC AXIS LABS ---SNOWSTORM
UPDATE----
Dear NPC Northern CO Ticket Holder- Thank you for
purchasing tickets to the NPC AXIS LABS Northern Colorado Bodybuilding,
Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships this Saturday!
The National
Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch
for Friday evening through Saturday evening. That means that
travel may be difficult so please plan
accordingly. There is a high
possibility of snow Friday night into Saturday. So,
just to play it safe, I am strongly urging all competitors to consider booking a room
at our host hotel, the Best
Western Golden Buff,
303/442-7450. They have a $59 and $69 rate, and have 11 rooms
open for Friday night as of 5pm Thursday. ( I have made a
list of overflow hotels at the bottom of this email when the Best
Western Golden Buff is booked.)
Depending on whether you were
planning on attending the 9 a.m. Saturday Prejudging, you may also want
to consider booking a room Friday night. The NPC AXIS LABS
Northern CO Championships will go on as planned with no ticket
refunds.
If you are only attending the 5
p.m. Evening Show, do plan to leave for the event at 10
a.m. and spend the day in Boulder. The Pearl
Street Mall is 1/2 block from the Boulder
Theater with tons of stores and restaurants. 24
Hour Fitness members can catch a workout at the new club a few
miles from the Theater. Grab dinner and drinks at George's Food &
Drink, located next door to Boulder Theater. Serving contemporary
comfort food starting at noon on Saturday.
(Try the chocolate-covered bacon, paninis, pigs in a blanket,
pulled pork, salads, homemade soups and more! Happy Hour steals from
5-7pm)
We won't delay
the start of the Evening Show so please plan
ahead and leave as early as possible during the day

Hotel & Suites has almost 20 rooms available
on Friday and their rate is $74.00. Contact phone number is
303.443.3322. (Located at 800 28th Street - on 28th frontage road
between Colorado Ave. and Baseline Road).
3. The Boulder
Broker Inn/Rodeway Inn is offering the rate
of $60.00, and they are at 555 30th Street, (30th and Baseline),
303.444.3330. There are 15 rooms
available Friday and 27 on Saturday.
