ELIGIBILITY: Open to any NPC athlete. (2011
NPC cards will be available for $100.) Teenage competitors must not
have
exceeded 19 years of age the day of the contest. Masters competitors
must have reached the age of 35/40/45 the day of the contest. (Women's
Masters BB 35.) Proof of
age
required. Novice competitors are eligible only if they have never
placed 1st-3rd in an open class or 1st place Novice
Division in any NPC sanctioned event. Contestants may enter more
than
one division, however, contestants will only pose once at
the evening competition.
AWARDS: Men's/Women's
Open: 1st-5th in each weight class. Teenage and Masters and
Women's Novice: 1st-5th one class each:
Drug Free for Life
1st-5th in each weight class and Men's Physique 1st-5th each height
class. (Novice BB class must have a minimum of 3
entrants prior to Oct. 1st, or number of classes may
be reduced.) A Team Trophy will be awarded to the highest
scoring team. ($30 fee per team is required.) Overall Men's
and Women's OPEN and Drug Free For Life Champions receive Overall Award.

TESTING PROCEDURE: As a condition of acceptance into this event,
contestants must pass a thorough polygraph examination
proving that he/she has not engaged in the use of anabolic steroids,
clenbuterol or synthol at any time
during the preceding 36 calendar months or for competitors
entire
life if entered in the Drug Free for Life Class. (The previous 6 months is the time frame
for non-over-the
counter
diuretics), No
exceptions. (No notes from doctors accepted for medical conditions
where banned substances are prescribed.) Upon
receipt of entry form and fee, the contestant will be notified
where to go for polygraph testing. The
testing center will attempt to accommodate each contestant's schedule.
There will not be any additional charge to the
contestant for the test.
Please
be advised: Polygraph testing schedules are likely to be inconvenient
for most competitors but it is the only way that ALL bodybuilders can
be tested prior to the event. This is the best way to
create a level playing field for bodybuilders instead of random testing
on the day of the show, or after the show. Thank you for your understanding.
This has been what has made NPC Natural Events in Colorado some of the
best in the USA!
RULES : This
contest is NPC sanctioned and will run in accordance with the most
recent NPC rules and procedures. All decisions are final. MUSIC:
Contestants will use their own music for the finals, on a custom
burned CD with only 60 sec. of posing song on the CD.
BRING CD TO CHECK-IN. Time Limit: 60 sec. All bodybuilding
competitors to be weighed-in wearing their posing suit, all Figure
competitors must bring their suits for inspection and all Bikini
competitors must measure in wearing bikini to be in compliance with new
rule--see below. Men's
Physique competitors must measure in wearing their board shorts.
MUSIC: Contestants will use their
own music WITH NO VULGARITY for the finals, prerecorded on a quality
CD--ONLY CD-R
TYPE OF CD, WITH A 60 SEC. POSING SONG CUSTOM BURNED
ALLOWED and CUED TO YOUR STARTING POINT. BRING CD TO
SATURDAY CHECK-IN, (not Friday). Time Limit: 60 sec.
NOTE: Do not record CD on a CD-RW as
it will likely not play any music for your routine.
SCHEDULE FOR BODYBUILDERS/PHYSIQUE: Check-in/ Weigh-in will
be at 7:00-8:00 pm FRIDAY, Oct. 21 at the Host
Hotel--Holiday
Inn/Lakewood,(Hampden & Wadsworth), and BODYBUILDING
PREJUDGING MEETING AT 8PM at Host Hotel.
SATURDAY MEETING to get #'s, cds at the Venue at 10:00 a.m., and
prejudging begins at 11:00 am (after Figure/Bikini) at Venue for all
BODYBUILDERS. Evening
check-in
will be at 5:00 pm,
and the evening presentation begins at 6pm
BACKSTAGE PASSES: NEW! Due to limited backstage
area at the Englewood High Auditorium, and for
the
competitors
safety, only a limited number
of assistants/ trainers will be permitted backstage. They may
purchase a Backstage
Trainer Pass for $75. The $75 Backstage Trainer Pass
includes a Prejudging ticket, but
Evening Finals ticket must be
purchased separately. Only 1 Trainer per competitor.
(Competitors do
not
need a ticket).
Please be advised: A Backstage
Trainer Pass does not allow trainers to impede flow of the event
backstage. Trainers must cooperate with event expeditors or
Backstage Trainer Pass will be revoked.

MEN'S
PHYSIQUE CONTEST INFORMATION: NEW!!
JUDGING CRITERIA-
* MUSCULARITY &
BODY CONDITION: Judges will be
looking for fit contestants who display proper shape
and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is
not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down.
* STAGE
PRESENCE & PERSONALITY: Contestants will be
asked to walk in board shorts (shorts must be just above the knee in
length and can be one inch below the belly button, no spandex and no logos are permitted on the
board shorts however a manufacturer’s logo such as Nike symbol or
Billabongs are acceptable.) Competitors will enter the stage without a
shirt and barefoot. No lewd acts allowed for example the moon pose.
Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and
poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience.
COMPETITION JUDGING-
*
PRESENTATION: Competitors will walk
to the center of the stage alone and perform quarter (1/4) turns with optional pose of hand
on hip or hand in pocket, face the judges as
directed then proceed to the side of the stage.
* COMPARISION ROUND: The competitors will
be brought back out in a group and directed to do quarter turns. The Judges will have
the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in quarter
turns.
CROSSOVERS, NATIONAL SHOWS, IFBB
PRO CARDS-
* CROSSOVERS: Crossovers are
allowed at NPC shows in CO this year, but not at the NPC national level.
* NPC NATIONAL LEVEL
CONTESTS: Competitors that place in
the top five (5) in each class at national qualifying contests will
have a one year qualification for national level events.
Note:
For 2011 a place in the top five (5) of any Men’s Physique contest will
qualify you for national level contests.

WOMEN'S FITNESS, FIGURE* & BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS
GENERAL CONTEST INFORMATION
- Each contestant must be a current memberof the NPC, (2011
NPC cards will be available for $100)
- Entry Fee: $75
per class if
postmarked by October 7th, 2011. $115 per class for
entries postmarked after October 7th, 2011. Figure
entries will be accepted at the Friday, October 21st Check-In at the Host
Hotel, Holiday

- Bikini
35+ and Figure
Over 40/45
contestants must
have
reached
the ages of 35/40/45 by the day of the contest. Proof
of age required
- Contestants must
wear high heels in the swimsuit
rounds and tennis/athletic shoes in the fitness round.
Jewelry may be worn in the swimsuit rounds.
- Thong
swimsuits will not be allowed. MUST BRING SUITS TO
FRIDAY CHECK-IN. BIKINI COMPETITORS MUST
WEAR BIKINI SUITS to Check
In.
- All
contestants must bring
all suits to be
worn in competition to the
Contestant Check-In for suit
inspection by a
show official. BIKINI

If Bikini athlete has any questions they should

sportsmanship will be grounds for

eligible to compete at the NPC Jr.Nationals, NPC USA and NPC National Figure
Championships in NY.
FITNESS &
FIGURE JUDGING PROCEDURES:
ROUND 1/SWIMSUIT
The contestants will be brought outin
1 or 2 lines for the quarter turns in a 2-PIECE SWIMSUIT. (Do not twist-look
straight ahead.)The judges will be scoring the physique
by assessing overall muscle tonewith shapely lines, overall
firmness and a small degree of muscularitywith separation,
no visible striations and no excessive leanness along with
a full general assessment including healthy appearance,
face, makeup and skin tone.
ROUND 2/ FITNESS (Fitness competitors only)
Each athlete will perform a maximum 2
minute routine. Judges will be looking for strength and
flexibility moves, style, personality and overall presentation
and showmanship. Strengthand flexibility moves will be
judged on the number, degree of difficulty and the creativity
in performing the moves. Contestants should give special
attentionto their apparel since it too will be judged. Routines may
include aerobics,dance gymnastics or other demonstrations of athletic
talent and strength--there are no required moves
except at the national events, but are strongly recommended.
Props are allowed but must be approved by promoter in advance.
SCORING
Each round is judged separately, andscores
are turned in after each round.
EVENING PERFORMANCE
All contestants will be introduced at the
evening event in their swimsuits. All athletes will perform
their fitness routine at the evening finals.

CHAMPIONSHIPS ----Rules
are the same as Women's Fitness minus "ROUND 2/FITNESS."
*SPECIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT NEW BIKINI DIVISION:
- NO
crossover into Bodybuilding, Fitness or Figure.
- Competitors
will compete in a
two-piece suit like Figure and Fitness. The bottom of the suit must be
v-shaped. No thongs are
permitted. Competitors can compete in an off-the-rack suit. All
swimsuits must be in good taste. Swimsuit will be inspected at Athlete
Check-In. All contestants must bring
all suits to be
worn in competition to the Contestant Check-In for suit
inspection by a

will walk onstage alone and perform their Model Walk (personal
preference)
- The
Model Walk consists of the following:
Walk
to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance then a full turn
and do a rear stance, (NEW!-Rear stance pose to be done in
good taste-keep feet no more than 24 inches apart and no bending
forward),
then turn to the front again in front of the
judges and then proceed to the side of the stage.
Comparison Round,
Two-Piece Swimsuit
- Competitors
will be judged wearing a two-piece swimsuit and heels.
- The
competitors will be brought out in a group and directed to do a full
front and rear stance. (NEW! -Rear stance pose to be done in
