RULES: This contest is NPC sanctioned
and will run in accordance with the most recent NPC rules
and procedures. All decisions are final. All bodybuilding
competitors must weigh-in wearing their posing suit.

WOMEN'S FITNESS & FIGURE* CHAMPIONSHIPS GENERAL CONTEST INFORMATION
JUDGING PROCEDURES: ROUND 1/SWIMSUIT The contestants will be brought outin 1 or 2 lines for the quarter turns. (Do not twist-look straight ahead.)The judges will be scoring the physique by assessing overall muscle tonewith shapely lines, overall firmness and a small degree of muscularitywith separation, no visible striations and no excessive leanness along with a full general assessment including healthy appearance, face, makeup and skin tone. ROUND 2/ FITNESS Each athlete will perform a maximum 2 minute routine. Judges will be looking for strength and flexibility moves, style, personality and overall presentation and showmanship. Strengthand flexibility moves will be judged on the number, degree of difficulty and the creativity in performing the moves. Contestants should give special attentionto their apparel since it too will be judged. Routines may include aerobics,dance gymnastics or other demonstrations of athletic talent and strength--there are no required moves except at the national events, but are strongly recommended. Props are allowed but must be approved by promoter in advance. ROUND 3/FINAL ASSESSMENT The Athlete will be brought back outin their original line in a 1-PIECE SWIMSUIT. At this time judgesmay ask for certain contestants to be placed next to other contestants.Then the quarter turns will be directed so the judges can make any finalcomparisons they wish. SCORING Each round is judged separately, andscores are turned in after each round. EVENING PERFORMANCE All contestants will be introducedat the evening event in their swimsuits. All athletes will perform theirfitness routine at the evening finals. *NOTE: 2003 COLORADO STATE WOMEN'S FIGURE CHAMPIONSHIPS----Rules are the same as Women's Fitness minus "ROUND 2/FITNESS."
